How working together actually works, in plain language.
This is a plain-language summary written by D Tech Studio, not by a lawyer. For any project, the written proposal you sign is the agreement that governs it; if the two ever disagree, the proposal wins.
Using this website
The design, code, text and images on this site belong to D Tech Studio except where they are a client’s own brand assets, which belong to that client. You are welcome to link to any page. You are not welcome to republish the pages as your own.
The work shown here
Every project in the portfolio is a live site built by D Tech Studio. The screenshots are of the running sites. Brand names and logos in them belong to their owners and appear as a record of the work, not as an endorsement.
Quotes and scope
Prices are quoted per project after a discovery call, and the quote names what is included. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts, never added to an invoice afterwards.
Payment
Projects normally start on a deposit with the balance due at launch, or run on an agreed instalment schedule. Monthly plans are billed monthly and can be stopped with notice.
Revisions
Three rounds of revisions are included in a standard build. A round means one consolidated set of changes, not one change. Further rounds are quoted at the point they are asked for.
Ownership and handover
On final payment the site, its code and its content are yours. The repository sits on your account and the deployment is yours, so nothing about the site depends on continuing to work with D Tech Studio. Third-party services keep their own licences and stay in your name.
Support after launch
Two weeks of post-launch support are included for fixes and small adjustments. Ongoing maintenance is a separate monthly plan and is always optional.

Completed work may be shown in this portfolio. If you would rather it was not, say so and it will not be, before launch or at any point afterwards.
